Where to play chess in and around Valencia 44

This list gathers every entry where a game can be had: the clubs of the city and of the towns around it, the tournaments that take outside players, the bars where chess people meet, and the chess hall of the La Petxina sports complex. It is grouped by kind of place.

Midweek is the easy way in. On Wednesday evenings the members of C.D. Basilio meet for friendly games at La Petxina, CHESSNGO runs its weekly blitz at a bar on Calle Campoamor, and the Games in Mano group has announced chess on the terrace of Bola en Mano, in Plaza Xuquer. On Fridays Dama Roja and Monteolivete play their club tournaments. For most clubs the sources give no visiting rules, so a message to the club before the first evening saves a wasted trip.
