More about this list
Blitz around Valencia mostly rides alongside something bigger. The Quart de Poblet weekend ends with an international blitz open the day after the rapid, and Silla pairs its June international with a blitz international on the last day, besides a blitz circuit that ran on Mondays through late winter. The Torneo Internacional Club Ajedrez Paterna is blitz from start to finish: round-robin groups at five minutes plus an increment in the Casino de la Plaza, then a final stage.
La Dama del Ajedrez is a women's blitz at La Petxina, rated for blitz Elo, whose third edition fell on International Women's Day; no later edition is on record. For blitz inside the city week by week, look beyond this page: the Wednesday tournament of CHESSNGO is filed with the bars, and the monthly Friday blitz of Monteolivete with the clubs.
