What the status rests on

elperiodic.com reported on 22 June 2026 that the club won the regional over-50 and over-65 championships, and the club plays in the 2026 División de Honor of the Valencian federation's (FACV) league (table updated 27 May 2026). Its venue and schedule are not stated. The VII Torneo Internacional Club Ajedrez Paterna was played on 26 August 2026 at the Casino de la Plaza, C/ Sant Pere 1; the event title says "Club Ajedrez Paterna", so its link to this club rests on the name. A 2020 elperiodic.com article says the Casino "fue su sede durante gran parte de sus 60 años de historia"; whether it is still the club's seat is not stated.
